Chris has 25 years of experience as a product innovator, editor and writer, and has conceived of and developed over 10 new periodicals, two books and three major web sites. Most recently, he conceived of, developed and grew NewFarm.Org into a highly valued national resource and vibrant online community. In just three years, NewFarm.Org emerged as the premier organic farming web site, attracting 80,000 farmer and activist visitors a month. Kevin Kemmerly - designer/developer. Kevin is a designer and developer with over 17 years experience developing web sites, motion graphics, rich media applications, and digital video. He specializes in standards-compliant web design with content management system integration.
Jeremy Eastburn has been working in web development for more than 12 years. His skills range from PHP/MySQL-driven sites to ASP.NET/C# applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server in the backend. His clients include multiple non-profit organizations in the U.S., several large corporate clients, as well as one of the largest Record Label companies in Europe. One of his most recent projects was a dynamic mapping application that plots global alerts and notifications for Fortune 500 companies to track and mitigate risks imposed on their employees.
David Ward–marketing and branding. David has designed and implemented marketing programs that advanced such diverse organizations as The Rodale Institute, World Wildlife Fund, Scholastic and Bain & Company. David and Chris worked together at The Rodale Institute on a competitive analysis of web sites serving consumers and businesses, and developed detailed recommendations for an organic food community web site that would offer unique services in this marketplace.
Brandon Miquel–database applications. Brandon is a web developer with over seven years of experience. He created complex but elegant and easy to use tools for NewFarm.Org, each with administrative back-ends that allowed for easy inputting of content and data without specialized skills. His past clients include a top-ranked university and leaders in the telecommunications industry. He is proficient in popular web development technologies, including ASP.NET and PHP. He specializes in database-driven content using leading databases such as Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Oracle, and MySQL.
Dale Didion–public relations, public affairs, media planning and promotion. Dale has decades of experience planning media events, unique promotional and awareness campaigns, and outreach and audience building initiatives. He has his own consulting business in Washington, with a variety of domestic and international clients, and has worked for Fleishman-Hillard, Hill & Knowlton and Renew America.
Marian Frances Wolbers–writing and editing. Marian is an experienced and accomplished writer and editor. She has managed and edited magazines and newsletters, and has written web content, magazine articles, newsletters, professional books and novels. She is currently teaching a course in writing for the web.
